Sounds good to me! I have no excuse except a complete inability to time manage! I <ahem> haven't even taken before photos! (which obviously will not be done at this point but Im sure you can all trust me that I started with a fresh box. Failing that c0d3monk33 can confirm that as recently as last week my figures where still held together with blu-tak! I think Im in trouble this month! ;D

I concur Aaron. I distinctly remember racing three armored cars across the field of fire of several very angry grey resin M10 tank destroyers crewed by invisible Americans and commanded by empty jeeps . We seem to have both suffered from painting fatigue this month...I assembled a few things but spent the rest of it making terrain. Zero painting has been achieved this month. Roll on September! I want to start buying Germans, but I can't do that until I have the NZers fully painted! Might be another win to Dustan .

Yeah, I'll second that. I can turn out a horde pretty quick, but dustand is up there.

I've never really mastered the art of horde painting...which is ironic considering my 40k Armies are mostly hordes (Imperial Guard and Tyranids) and so's my WHFB Army (Vampire Counts)... I dunno...I guess I enjoy painting figures too much and want to make them all look as good as possible...meaning of course I never have any army finished. Plus I spend a fair amount of time messing around with different techniques and stripping/re-painting the odd figure... Oh and working and raising a toddler kinda takes a bit of time too Dustan is a machine. He deserves to win again...although eerrrrr as Phil mentions this could get a bit repeatative . Personally I'm looking forward to Dustan finishing the Orks and picking up a FOW Soviet army...

Well regardless of the level of competition this month Dustan you did another great job. Your sheer determination & ability to keep grinding away is a great inspiration.
You are well deserving of your accolades for this month & it was cool to see just how much has been completed in 3 months!
I hope to tidy away all those little things I haven't had a chance to do and get an overall army photo at the end of this month.

Thank you all and let me just say grinding on is all I can do... I realy should thank my wonderful girlfriend for encouraging me to pick up the brush, shes very suportive of me and enjoys chilling out and playing on the computer as I toil away.
Its going to be another grind this month. I am biting off even more than I can chew but I am relying on a few dirty techniques to help me speed through the boyz.
I realy got to say that I am adicted to horde armies also. Orks, Skaven, Vampire counts, Empire and now Genestealers (but you all know that its going to turn into something much bigger, I just cant help myself). I think I am going to have to start an Ogre Kingdoms army, just to get away from the hordes. though there will still be 40 - 60 knoblers =\ and lets face it even if I picked a high elf army it would turn into a horde.
I need to set a smaller target size for my army, problem is I dont know what troops will work so I got to get them all so if I ever play more i can figure out what does... maybe I should just accept my love of core troop choices and work my love of hordes into every army =\
