Hmmm yes, I've based, primed and started painting all of the Germans, but none have been finished yet... In fact I build a couple of CD terrain pieces for them instead! Check the post on my blog this morning... www.tabletop-terrain.com

Well I'm still chugging through mine. If you refer to my earlier post you'll see a pic of the figures fresh out the box, and here's my surgically alterred heros; On the left is Lew Armistead with celtic cavalry head and hat on sabre. Next is Pickett, who started as the figure next to him, and got a head and arm swap. Next to pickett is Sam Hood, the same basic figure but without any mods. Next to Hood is JEB Stuart, who has had his binocs replaced with a sabre And finally James Longstreet, stock.

thanks but th eonly reason i paint them is cause they are so easy to paint(at least i think so)they only took about 3 hours to do 20 of them plus the captain,so it makes it easy for me as i cant stay focused for long....

The ironic thing is I spent this weekend applying some paint to the German figures I was supposed to have finished for this challenge...
I think we aimed too high again. Seems single figures or single pieces of small terrain are the way to go.
I'm happy for anybody to suggest something and we'll give it another crack!

I was side tracked back into some giant 28mm figures at the weekend, and quite fancy doing some character types along the pulp lines. A recent job I had to do made me realise how much I like doing slightly larger figures after months of 20 and 15mm. I also found while trawling through some old files a couple of pulp gaming docs, rpgs rather than wargaming, but may be of interest to you if you'd like copies.

Yeah it's interesting painting 28mm figures again after finishing the FOW NZers. I'm worried I've forgotten how to do it Pulp gaming? Aye PM me a copy or summat! tabletop_terrain AT fastmail.fm is also good. I've installed Steel Panthers and updated it...but alas bought a $50 copy of World of Warcraft at a local sale recently...so no time to play other PC games for me in the next month!
