You've just got me thinking there stu;
Why not make a mold of a whole egg, then cut up your casts to use on the bases? The egg will be solid enough to survive the molding, and you can just chop up the resultant casts.

What kind of detail can I get in a mold? I've never done casting before you see, so how fine can I go before it will get lost in a mass of yuck?

If you can see it or feel it, you will we able to reproduce it with the sort of stuff you can use at home. |
