My uncle's quite the cheap - any more than 49 chickens and you need a lisence (sp?): guess how many chickens he has? 49. But it keeps him happy and the money coming in (and now me happy too - virtually unlimited supply of wraithbone!)

Well its eggs for lunch for me - need to get them shells somehow.
No prizes for guessing that after lunch I'll be working on some wraithbone bases, cant promise any pics due to the fact that I have no camera and a crappy internet connection..
Hopefully everything you guys have given me is enough - if not (and even so) I'll be back asking more questions of you!

Steak and milk every day.... easy access to model shops and supplies... Steak and milk... models...
Hmmm that does make for hard decisions

pak n save sell milk. and steak.
cows don't lay models.
Although I must admit, after finishing a particularly nice steak one day, I turned to my wife and said "man, I wish I could throw a line off the wharf and catch a cow!"

Hmmm that does make for hard decisions Not really - Im not a huge steak fan, and as pityak said supermarkets sell milk.. ++EDIT++ Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Im making up 5 master wraithbone bases which Im going to cast and then do enough for my entire army, pics will eventually follow. If anyone *looks at Dustan* decides they want some to finish an Eldar (or otherwise) army I can always cast extra

I always want to do decorative bases but always end up with catlitter, sand and flock... lets face it. I am a slave to conformity

In my book that's the best way to go for gaming figures. i normally don't even bother with grass, just a sort of gravelly / sandy look, which is generall enough to fit in with a range of possible terrains. Display figures are different kettle of cliches.

Ooh ooh display figures!!
PitYak, as a "professional", what do you know about painting a display army? Apart from taking your time, of course.. Are there any tips you could share?

My goal list for painting a display army is the following
*Learn Wet Blending (blending with quite watered down paints)
*Learn Non-Metal Metalic techniques (helps to have the above skill)
*Clean ALL mold lines
*Use lots of Green stuff to hide joins and gaps
*Create new details and custom jobs.
*Keep working on a model until its done, done and done. (Add more and more detail into the paint job)
*Create a sense of unity in an army of individuals

Ok so far I have mastered :
*Wet blending
*Cleaning mold lines
*New details and custom jobs
*Sense of unity
I dont agree completely wiht NMM or SENMM, and I never have money for GS. I always work on a model till either a) its absolutely completely 150% finished or b) I get so frustrated I throw it across the room (and then regret it)

Yeah NMM and SENMM are just things I wont to do... it always looks cool when photographed and can add an extra rich depth to the figure but for most armies I will use metalic paints...
