Afternoooon. Some of you (Pityak) might know me as Mike but most other people call me Mack.
I'll be representing the NorthEast of England on this forum. I know Pityak from one of his previous jobs (assassin, cyberpunk, shady government agency - which one is it?).
I'm not particularly into gaming but am interested in the modelling side of things - in fact I'm interested in most art/craft techniques. Don't really have much time to follow up on any of this tho' as I'm a full time VW freak. Mainly aircooled, always older stuff. I'm tackling a '65 kombi resto at the moment. It's supposed to be a hobby but often feels more like a sentence.
Peace and good roads

Hey, my name's Vaughan, living in Nelson, gonna head to chch in a few weeks. I play mainly 40k, although play is an interesting word, as I've had no opponents for so long. I collect a tyranid and witchhunters army, and am quite interested in the painting and converting side of things, although the game is quite fun too.

there is really an actual island off the coast of europe?
I always thought it was one of those fabled non existent palces like Atlantis and the Island off the coast of Australia

Hi, I am married, 3 girls and one son, Zak (14) he has become a warhammer 40k fan, so I am trying to assist him in learning about how to create his army and build some terrain, etc, we are new to all this and have never created or painted models before!!! So expect a daily question ;D he has chosen Necrons and hubby and I are building a small eldar army, because its company for him and we would be stepping on his creativity if we painted his necrons .

Sounds like a great house, not like my house when I was a lad!
Welcome aboard, and bring the questions on. I'm painting eldar at the moment too; Howling banshees and Fire dragons for a customer.

TEXT ;)Hello PitYak! Well, we finally got logged into this, following a few false starts... We are a mum and two boys, 7 and 11, who have been involved with Lord of the Rings for the last six months or so and have recently (now that they've accumulated masses of LOR stuff no longer played with...) become keen on Warhammer 40K. Bought today on TM one sculpting figure and saw your website and HERE WE ARE! Wondering where to go next to learn how to actually sculpt these figures! Glad for them to be sculpting them themselves! (They work pretty hard to earn the dollars for these things!). LOTSA lawns! One of the boys is going to keep this account and the other and I will start our own. The other boy's will be "Tiger"... so watch out for them! Where do we find info to start sculpting??? Not sure what we need! I'm sure all of you guys know this! Thanks so much, thanks for the site! Regards, Lady of the Blue Mists.
