it does take a while to put all these things together and the main rules are the most confusing aspect of FoW. A jeep is an un-armoured vehicle with a movement rating of "jeep" Thats all. No stats nothing else. Sometimes particular jeeps will have differences (like anti-aircraft machine guns) but thats not really stats. Sting of the Scorpion is slightly different to normal FoW (and so is Who Dares Wins) and I think the Recce Company that refers to is the attackers in that which are LRDG (?) Sas or similar. Alternatively some countries allow you to take, for example, Armoured Recon Companies which is the same as normal company but the basic troop type is recon. SMG you will/should find in K&C just below or above Rifle/MG teams in the sumary listing. Otherwise they are treated the same as a standard Infantry platoon but have ROF 3, Range 4" and full ROF on the move. A commando rifle team will be a standard rifle team (Rof 1, FP6+, AT2) with commando special rules (what ever they may be). One thing with FOW is that all the "stats" only apply/modify weapon stats. Otherwise a rifle team operates the same as a Rifle/MG team same as light machine gun team etc as they are all "Infantry" same with unarmoured vehicles, gun teams, tanks etc. these basics are only modified by race specific special rules. clear as mud?!? The early war models will be returning but not for a while.

The sas and lrdg trucks must be special cases, as they are bristling with weapons. I've just been looking on the forum and apparently the sas/lrdg boxed sets have the rules I'm looking for, but I can't find out how to get them without buying the boxed set. A bit stink. Looks like you say, the two boxed sets act almost as stand alone games, seperate to the rest.
Definately no smg in K&C summary lists.

HI Phil
The SMG rules are in the main rule book.
ROF = 3, range = 10cm, AT = 1, FP = 6, no penalty to ROF or to hit if you move.
Hope this helps
Cheers

Hi Burbsee
I might take you up on the offer of the trade for Hitlers Fire Brigade. I've got a space marine attack bike that I could trade you for it?
PM me If you are keen
Cheers

Well I've got 20mm acw, 20mm ancients and 20mm cyberpunk armies ready for combat, and soon hopefully 15mm WWII, so we should be able to arrange a scrap or two.
