Hmmm I guess this means no-one else is going into Conquest?? Damn.. Well I know I'll be there with several other guys from the local club, so if anyone does turn up I'm playing marines, the Sanctus Legion to be exact (Possible link to my name, anyone...?)

Conquest is fast approaching, and Im guessing from the fact that no-one else has posted all you slack bums aren't making the trip to ChCh... Oh well there's always next year

Hey take a camera and get some snaps! I don't live anywhere near ChCh (I live in Auckland) but always like event photos...particularly of nifty terrain/figures Lord knows there probably won't be any OTHER coverage on the web! |

I had fully planned to take photos - I need some for a story Im writing for the paper, some for a feature story (hopefully also for the paper) and some for the Armchair Generals down here, so I'll post them when I get back

Alright Conquest has been and gone for 2005, and it was a huge event. 96 people over 5 or 6 games. I dont have the resulkts for FoW, Fantasy or LotR, but I do have some results for 40k.
Luke Milner (sp?) picked up best army - Tzeentch force with a hand-sculpted Lord of Change, Ian Heal was second with a Lost and the Damned army.
Hagen Kerr got first place overall with his IG force, dont know if any of you have seen it but its damn impressive.
Pics will come soon, just waiting for the camera to charge so I can put them on the PC

Hey Guys,
Ive started having a warhammer club night at my house and was wondering if anybody was interested.
Im located in the howick/pakuranga area of auckland and ive got mayby a good attendance of 4-5 people, we're just looking to introduce new people to the hobby, we have a gaming board and some armies to finish, we have usualy 1 game going over the evening from mayby 5:30-9ish but we plan to get 1 game of fantasy and 1 game of 40k at the same time.
