Heh, interesting! We've got together a group of 5-6 gamers that meet in my garage in Royal Oak twice a month.

What age group is everybody? We're roughly 24-36 year olds (sigh...yes I'm the oldest). Maybe would could sort out an 'inter club' tourney someday

We're playing WHFB, 40k, Mordheim and Flames of War (pretty much in that order of preference at the moment).

Atm most of our attendee's are from 20-30, me playing host at 15 but i was the guy who got them all into it so thats all good

Karanadon: Perhaps we should definitely think about it in the future! What state are the armies in your group? We've got a pretty mixed bag...more painted 40k figures than WHFB ones I think from memory. I wonder if having a table in a garage establishes some kind of gravitational field that only gamers are attuined to =] Went in and payed all the bond and crap for the new house $1640 just to bloody move house... worth every damn cent though cause now after at least 5 years of wanting 2 years od needing and 1 year of focused thought I have my first ever garage and workshop! there is like a rest of the house to but bah =] thats not important

I have met quite a few decent people from trade me trades that have been keen for a game so I'll have to bust out some emails soon =]

We've got mainly starters but theres me and one other who are really into it, ive got my 2000 points ultramarines which are up for sale

but i have 600 or so points of nids hoping to make it up to 1000 soon enough, we also have someone with half painted 4000 point armies of both vampire counts and empire. One of our starters has also just bought 2 boxes of grey knights and a codex so he just needs and hq and hes away... we dont really have a proper board yet so if a tournament does happen it will have to be over there... but give us a few weeks to get going and ill keep in touch as to weather the guys think its a good idea!

If it does go ahead I can bring models along to fill ranks or field armies... I brought these figures to be used and not necesarily by me... long time ago before i was hopelessly addicted, I realised finding players was easy, finding players that want to spend there money on models is harder =] And now I ahve 8 or 9 armies =\

Sunday night Pizza dinner and prize giving

If you are interested in helping in any way, shape or form, please let me know. We will be needing help setting up, packing down, stuffing loot bags, sourcing goodies, advertising etc. If anyone knows of other clubs, shops, gaming places that might be interested in being involved that haven’t had me talk to them already, please let me know asap.
