Oh I like a bit of running around shooting my mates (or workmates) with paint pellets to be sure. I just use the gun the man at the hut hands me though

Try airsoft; not so much range, but cheaper to start up yourself. and the guns look real.

oh its great fun(for a crazed teen like me anyway)the satisfaction of hiting your mates and making them cry(no not really)but man it can hurt if you get hit in the right spots.i much prefer outdoor myself the whole bush type thing is what i like.i do not know about the rest of the country but in wanganui we have a guy who is licensed to carry machine guns that spit out 20 something bullets a second!!!keep out of that guys way!!actually banned in nz but hes been doin it for 25 years or so so we are lucky.the only problem being that xtra bullets cost abotu $10-$15 for evey 100 and with that in full swing you chew through your rounds as well as your wallet.
i recommend at least trying it.its so much fun!!!!!!!!!!

I used to be hard core into it, we would be out every weekend. we played in tropical anticyclons, rain, wind, hell if it snowed we would go out. Middle of winter I slid down a 60 degree hill dropped 2 meters or so into the freezing stream and waded around to gun above my head water to my chin. I got an attack on their rear, shot 4 people and made the other 2 run for their next baricade.
I stoped playing when they wanted to get more competitive and form teams... wethere were about 9 of us hard cores and everynow and again we would get groups of like 20 kids wanting to play. commisars and infantry ;D the 'vets' would take a few kids. man, nothing stops a paintball like a body sheild of little kids >=D muhahahaha

just went paintballing and used a mint A-5 machine gun with a spit out of 17 bullets a second!!!!.it also had a flatline barrel which gave it range up to 250 meteres(not accurately though)had fun and got the nastiest welt i have yet seen 8-)but damn does it hurt.it is very exspensive though this time it was $40 for 100 bullets not exactly very effective when you have a gun that can shoot 17 bullets a second.but you can use it to fire 1 at atime and i managed to make it last almost two hours.great fun!!!!!!!! get into it
