Hello, I am wanting to get into casting some terrain pieces and I was wandering what products would be suitable for a mould. someone told me that RTV silicone would work, but I thought I would ask around to find the best stuff before jumping into things. Also It would be noce to know where I can get it from (I live in Christchurch). thanks

RTV is the way to go. I use Ultrasil, and Easycast or Procast resin. If you don't have a local model or craft shop that sells this you can get it from www.topmark.co.nz.

Their site is pretty bad. It's better to email them with what you want and ask for a price.
