Well, I have no excuse any more as TODAY I purchased the LAST blister I need today to complete a 1500pts Flames of War British/NZ Rifle Company.
I've pretty much abandoned any planning and am now fitting in as much as I can get done around the myriad of other projects that seem to be creeping up.
Spent tonight basing (with Pollyfilla) all the remaining 'small Infantry' bases I have kicking around. That's Company HQ + Command for the 3rd Rifle Platoon + Observers + Command and Staff for the 25pdr gun battery and Command for the 17/25pdr AT unit. I've also been preparing the last three 25pdr gun bases as well.
Now I just have to paint up some of these blighters. Feeling mildly enthusiastic after basically spending last month on that trench terrain project.

Right here's my work-bench as of this morning. Currently the most likely to be finished in September are: 6 large Infantry bases. This will complete my SECOND Rifle Platoon. These are the darker, fully painted bases. Then I'll be painting as many of the small Infantry bases as possible and hopefully that large 25pdr base and gun. If I can get all the small Infantry bases sorted out it'll all be downhill from there because then it's just 6 more large Infantry bases and gun teams and vehicles to paint. My enthusiasm is slowly returning ...I can see the light at the end of the tunnel again!

Ya know what I think will fire you up?
Another game! Time you took on those damned dirty Panzers I reckon!
Hunker down in one of those mint trench sets of yours and watch them flounder against the might of Imperial Britain!
failing that, dig in, go to ground and pray the Rare As Fairies show up! ;D

Slack, so slack. Another month has gone by and all I seem to have done in September is play Mordheim! I've managed to paint: - ONE Humber II armored car to complete this full unit of three. #3 in the front was painted this week. - THREE large Infantry bases to move my second Rifle platoon closer to being finished. They require another THREE large Infantry bases to be done. - I have made sundry progress on all the other bases...priming and base coating most of them. I'm also about a week away from finishing at LEAST another 25pdr gun and gun team, maybe two.

Well it might be quality over quantity but they still look great.
Can I just briefly marvel at what looks to be handpainted silver ferns on the front of each Humber, thats pretty cool!

You haven't notice the silver ferns before Aaron ...all my AFV's have them! Including the Universals. It's really my only nod to unit markings...apparently the NZers applied their unit markings pretty piece-wise and didn't really stick to any particular scheme, although people will tell you they used the British scheme...but apparently only on tanks (although I applied it to the armored cars as well). Go the NZers! Saved me from a bit of research that did

hmm... no I hadn't noticed before... Must have been too busy trying to kill them rather than admire them! ;D

The quality of your paint jobs never fails to make my jaw slacken. Those guys are tiny yet so much detail.
I'm gutted I didnt stop and take a look at your mordenheim table last tuesday. I seen the pics on your blog and I think it was worth the loss of productivity on the NZers.
