Well the days are growing warmer, the sun is encouraging me out from my cave to explore the wonders of nature. The winter is slowly turning into spring which can mean only one thing… we are now halfway through our mid-winter modeling madness!!
I was wondering if we could get some feedback on the event so far both from entrants and readers. Is there any thing that people would like to see us doing/trying more/less? Are we not posting enough colourful pictures? Or not talking enough about background and flavour? Are we just not doing anything that inspires you? Seriously anything people can offer to help us all have more fun with this would be great!
From my point of view this has been a very positive experience for me & despite struggling this past month to stay focused and happy I still get a buzz when I pull out my painted figures for a game of Flames of War. I have completed more figures in the last 3 months than I have in the previous 3 years & whilst it has impacted my life somewhat I am surprised just how little things have had to change to free up the extra time! The only thing I’ve really had to sacrifice is “watching” TV, I know basically treat the TV as a radio and my painting tray lives under the coffee table next to the couch! Since we started this competition there have been (without a break) paints and empty FoW boxes and blisters scattered over the dining room table!
The only thing Im a little disappointed about is that we haven’t really drummed up more interest in the forum overall & haven’t encouraged new members (or old members) to give us any feedback but I do hope people have been interested in what we have been doing even if not talking about it.

Well you have inspired me to assemble under coat a lot of models that have bean sitting about 
will have to harang more people to read this forum
