Alright, I'll be the first to start a thread, although I haven't managed to borrow the g/fs camera yet...
My goal with this army is basically a fun army - I'm not collecting to battle specifically, I'm more collecting because I like painting and conversion.
As such, my goal by the end of the army is basically to have one of every unit type. That is -
One Inquisitor Lord and Retinue One Adepta Sororitas Heroine - Canoness, to be specific One Priest One unit of Arco-flagellants (Min 3) One Celestian Squad (Attached to Canoness) One unit of Sister Repentia (Min 4 + Mistress) One Officio Assassinorum Operative - Vindicare Temple Assassin One Rhino One Immolator One Exorcist 2 x Battle Sisters Squads 2 x Seraphim Squad 1 x Dominion Squad 1 x Retributor Squad 1 x Penitent Engine
I also love converting, so lots of things will probably get attacked - for instance, I'm going to replace the jumppacks on my seraphims with wings. I also have a sister on a bike half made, although that's not officially covered by the rules.
Currently I have - One Canoness, One Rhino, 20 Battle sisters including 4 special weapons, imagifier and veteran sister. Of those I need to paint 5 of the battle sisters.
My army scheme is basically black with purple (No slaanesh comments), but as I'm just painting it for fun, I don't think I'll stick with that much at all.

I do like the Sisters of Battle metals. Some of the new ones are particularly lovely and I'm tempted to use them in a converted Necromunda gang at some point it the (distant!) future. Their special 'Church organ' tank (is that the Exorcist?) is a lovely looking kit too. I'll be interested to see your conversions and progress, definitely bug your g/f for her camera

Hey, looks like I'll be the first one to pull out. I'm fine painting time wise, but my only digital camera I can get a hold of can't really take pictures of the models - way too blurry anywhere near close up.

Noooo! Don't drop out if you can help it! You'll be the second to go! If you can't get a decent digital camera the other option is actually to use a flatbed scanner to take scans of your miniatures . It obviously doesn't work as well but you can still document your progress... Heh, still I guess the more people that drop out the more prizes there are for the survivors!

... and the less it'll cost me in the long run ;D I've never had much luck with the scanner, but I've seen plenty of pics others have done that were fine. www.plasticsoldierreview.com only uses scanned images, and they are pretty good.
