There was Card. Almost seems like a dying breed of games, card stock counters representing everything from troops, mech, drop ships, battalions... you name it it could be stamped out on card board squares... I was searching random domain names and tried thewargamer.com, what I found was a nostalgic blast to the past. He has a page where he and others like him have uploaded hundreds of scans of un-punched precut game counters. My favourite counter game was always sucession wars, I sold it ages ago before I found a bunch of wargames to rope into playing it. it was a command level game set in the mech warrior universe, up to 5 players controled one of each of the house, gained resources for the areas of space they owned and protected their empire with dozens of mech warrior lances... all loving stamped in card. Gone now is the past *sigh*

those type of games are cool it is a pity they are going out the door.some people will never stop playing them though.what about the old second edition era in 40 k when you had all th esmoke counters and stuff drifting over the battle field.that was a pain in my opinion.
