hi do you find that your opponent takes aragon(soupped up to the max at a mere cost of 275 points) in his force and ends up ripping your heart out.you commit half your force to him he simply ups his dice roll wins the fight due to his higher fight value and knocks you all over cause he is on a hose.so much for even points match he calves up your force and i seem unable to do anything about it just the other day he calved up 3 beserkers 2 captains and about ten normal urukai without me getting a strick at him even though i had two captains while his piddly support army took on the rest of my force.unbeleiveable.can any body give me a tip on how to bring him down.cheers

Maybe try get something with a higher fight value than him, also try to get him to use all of his might and fate points early.

Okay, I'm guessing you play Evil against this person. Take thw Witch King/a Ringwraith and be sure you use Immobilise against Aragorn. This drops his Fight Value to 1 and he cannot strike any wounds if he wins the fight. Send in all you cheap orcs or Mordor Uruks to swarm him, and try and trap him. Doubling attacks.  if you play Isengard swap the Witch King for Saruman. Good Luck! |

thanks i will try it.i have tried that approach before using saruman only to find him on the end of gandalf's sorcerous blast.cheers i will try to apply what you suggested
