ooo you have griffens. They're probably what I will collect too. I think they look neat but I also like the back story behind them too.. but those pirate goblins still grin at me and yell 'take me home'... argh

Wolfen are dead sexy, really imposing on the battlefield (i think they are quite a bit bigger than the other figures)and their expressions just rock!. The cry havoc vol 1 has a painting tutorial for the griffen inquisitor. Though it is pretty good and applicable to other models. It doesn't do the usual step by step paint this colour here and paint hat there. It seems to deal more with getting the atmospehre of a piece. If you are wanting colour ideas then I'd recommend the catalogue which I aslo bought it has good clear pictures of the pieces painted up. But both books are serious eye candy! As for price. well I actually think these guys are definately more expensive than the upper rage gw stuff, but the the wolfen are the dearest of all to collect I think cos of their size. Though from looking at the catalogue you don't need too many pieces to play confrontation. They have a 300 point wolfen army listed The watcher equipped with the "Lance of Neverending Sleep" ($31.50) 1 Wolfen lonewolf with the "Ice Ring" spell ($27.95) 1 Grave Guardian 1 ($27.95) 1 Wolfen with Crossbow 3 ($24.50) 2 Wolfen Warriors 3 ($33.95 ea so $67.90) $179.80NZ all up for a confrontation army. at least postage from wargames.co.nz is included in the price? I see that wargames.co.nz also stock vallejo paints now too, they sell it in groups of three six or twelve and you pick the colours you want. I guess they do it that way cos it is easier for postage since they don't charge extra for postage. Also gets cheaper the more you buy, the twleve bottles work out at $4.90 each post incl which is pretty darn good really. wargames.co.nz/?ref=23One last thing. if you're going to buy from them use the link I posted so I get some credit for referring you, it pretty please? *flutter*

I'm thinking of buying the Hybrid boxed set, then starting a Wolfen army, or the other way round... Argh, it's all too good for my brain to comprehend
