I don't suppose I'm average, but I'm generally in the every day camp.

Meh, I'm at school, though I have a part-time job. But I live out in the country, which makes it hard to get into the city for models. And now that the Queen S. GW has stopped mail-orders its harder. Soupurt Publick Educashun!

Soupurt Publick Educashun! I don't see how it's much more difficult to order from Mail Order in Australia, 8 dollars flat rate postage, toll free postage and you'll save a bit of money given the exchange rate and you don't pay GST on the order.

Even if you did, ordering from overseas, paying in foreign currency, waiting for airmail deliveries - never quite as convenient as getting what you want locally.

It ususally takes three to four working days from OZ, paying in foreign currency doesn't mean much if you're paying with a credit card and ordering is no less or more painful.
It would be silly for me to order everything from Mail Order, as I live about 15 minutes from a GW but when there are Mail Order exclusives, I order from Mail Order.
FantasyChild would have had to order over the phone before, and as you wouldn't have been in the store, how did you manage to pay ? Was it by cheque, because Mail Order accept cheques. Give the Hobby Service Centre a ring and have a chat with them about it : 0800 448 514.
