I'm always on the lookout for any, managed to scrounge some from a guitar playing relative. he suggested asking at music shops, they usually have broken ones they are throwing away

You know you can boil bass strings and they'll sound like new again. I'll take em off your hands if you dont want em, my bass dont need any but i could make some machine thrall terrain.
