I need any spare brens, 50 cals et cetera for my carriers. For swapsies I've got a fw spare british infantry, including oop bef and rifle platoon, plus I'll no doubt be buying loads of stuff in the near future, so if there's smething you need I might have it soon. Plus as usual I've got heaps of all sorts of junk I've got no use for

Yeah it's funny eh? I've got a whole small Jimbo's cat food container of FOW bits and pieces. I have little idea where I got them all from either! Mostly Brits but there's a few Jerries in there too.
A good source of .50 cal MG's is Jeep blisters. You get three jeeps per blister and don't need the .50 cal's unless you're playing Yankees. I'm pretty sure the Brit jeeps are used for command only. Plus they're handy for 'decoration'. I'm about to build a 'soft sand' terrain piece for North Africa and am going to 'bury' a jeep in one to show the softness of errr the sand!
Totally OT but I'm glad we own a cat. He's cute, friendly and keeps me in an endless supply of reasonably sized plastic containers for keeping hobby stuff in and mixing/pouring plaster with!

we do too, but ours gets the foil sachets - not much good for anything. My frogs on the other hand, they eat flies which come in handy plastic tubs!
Good point about the jeeps - I will be buying some eventually, so that's good to know.
I went for more carriers yesterday, and almost picked up one pack when I saw it had aamgs included. Then I noticed it the carriers were solid resin casings on bases. What gives? are they older models?

Good idea for the soft ground marker, I've been looking at some very nice objectives recently, and can't wait to get onto them, plus I've got an amusing little secret-marker-project underway that I should be able to show soon

Ironically the horrid resin Universals with molded bases are the NEWER models I believe.
Battlefront seem to be trying to force us all to use bases for our transports which sucks because the molded on bases are terrible.
They're usually chipped and very rarely are actually flat. The whole 'molded on base' resin line kinda drags their quality down imho.

plus, I was really impressed with the first pack I bought; I like the way the pour spout is concealed, and the lead tracks make the models very bottom heavy, which strikes me as useful. I'll be staying clear of the all resin ones.

(maybe someone should start producing carriers without bases?)
