Ok as promised elsewhere I've priced out the cork tile, mitre 10 had a pack of 4.8mm at $23.40 and placemakers have them at $12.49, no prizes for guessing where I would be buying them
well now to business, There is 4.8mm thick or 6mm thick and they come 9 to a pack, they are 30cm x30cm square the 4.8mm work out at $1.40 each, and the 6mm work out at being $1.85.
My preference would be for the 6mm thickness. I can purchase them and then split the pack and send out individual tiles for cost plus $1 to cover postage of each tile. If you wanted more it'd be another $1 and I'd send in a seperate envelope as sending two envelopes under 2cm thick is cheaper than sending a parcel over 2cm thick. Send me a message on here if you are interested and how many you would want. You can internet bank into my account to pay for it. let me know if you are interested. Or errm in the spirit of this board offer something for trade? *duck* No younger brothers or sisters, I have enough of my own trolls lurking around here. I collect lotr so any bits and pieces of that is cool.
just a note:::: since NZ post has clear dimensions for what constitute a letter and therefore is eligible for cheaper letter rate postage ($90c stamp as compared to $3.50 for parcel post) annnnnd the fact that my plastic mailer envelopes I bought in bulk are only 25cm wide. I would have to trim a strip off each tile so you'd be able to get the cheap postage option, let me know if you want the tile cut in half (two 30 x 15cm pieces) or a 25x 30 and 5x 30
