Nice work! Is that a full time job or a sideline?
$130-$160 a throw isn't bad money! But I guess that depends on how much sewing is involved?

well lets see, I did work out that in a productive week if I put in 40 solid hours of sewing I could make between $500 and $900 US depending on how the auctions went. That is accounting for a 20-30% decrease in teh value of my items due to them being not as hard to get as they are now. I charge out my time at a base rate of $8 US per hour, then add on materials costs and set that as my starting price and let the auction go from there.
But I'm too lazy to work at it fulltime and I lack a designated area in which to do it. It's annoying when I have to put things away and tidy up and can't have a photography 'studio' set up permanently .
I don't make the dolls, or shoes, I just sell the clothing for them. The dolls are rather expensive usually between $300 - $900 US each, pluss eyes, wigs face paint, shoes and accessories. Some of them sell in the thousands, specially popular molds painted by popular customisers. They're made from resin with ball joints and strung with elastic, an update on the antique porcelain doll.
