yeah i just got one from pityak though i have not paid for it same as picture  .been looking for one for ages but with no modelshops in wanganui the going is hard so deprived... |

I went for years without one and since I got one about 12 months ago I've never looked back! All my heavy metal parts are now pinned. Ive greater ability to fix broken models as you can pin a sword blade back on the hand or the horses tail back on etc etc.
Pretty much invaluable!

Yeah that was my experience too. I kept reading about 'pin vices' in WD and thinking naaah I don't need one of those. And then I picked one up on a whim several years ago because I thought I'd like to try drilling out some gun barrels. I've now used it so much the handle is smeared with dried glue and green stuff and the collet that holds the chucks in place has cracked so I have to resort to wrapping scraps of paper around the drill bits to get them to fit snuggly in the chucks  Hmmm might be time for a replacement! |
