If you're using acrylic, try an extender like Floetrol, which stops it drying out so fast.

oh oh were do you get this stuff from??i was trying to do it properly the other day and it was drying before i could finish it .i tried watering it down but that did not"blend"the way i wanted it to!!

You get it somewhere like Mitre 10 or, dare I say it, Bunnings. You can buy similar stuff from art shops, but you will pay about 1000% more for it.

Yeah we got it at bunnings. we also got jo sonyas art products, I am using the acrylic retarder from that range (didnt know about flotrol) the retarder works well as a matt glaze medium.
