hey all i could do with some tips.i amtryingto paint urukhai scouts and if you have seen them they are covered in loose rags and i am having a hard time trying to get a convincing look about them.
can you guys let me know how you would go about painting brown dirty cloth and the like

Black undercoat with a dark Brown base coat the paint Graveyard Earth over most of it. Highlight with Kommando Khaki. you can skip the dark brown fase and make it a two tone over black base =] its like dusty light brown leather. if you hight it with a wash (maybe chestnut ink) it will look like well looked after pollished leather.

cheers.though i will not go for the ink thing as they are urukhai and should not be well polished

hey that turned out the way i wanted it to thanks dustan!now i am painting ugluk and uruk-hai captain who is holding a dead orc head.i am also have trouble recreating dead flesh. i started with a dark green and dry brushed it all the way up to a light green and then finished with bleached bone but not happy at all with th created look anybody able to help with creating dead orc flesh(head-severed neck)??
