Conflict Wellington

Hi guys

Just a quick note before the official announcment (whenever that is) that conflict wellington will be held in July (probably the 23rd), and probably at st pats in lyall bay.

COnflict is mostly an event for the kids, small tournies and stuff, but also has a painting comp, i am probably running a 40K doubles event (unless my taxation exam is around then) and Rachel of Ironhalo painting will be doing a masterclass stand.

of course being a GW event, GW figs only, but you get that

I was thinking of getting some use out of a section of my 40k army before Fields so I might stroll on down, although this masterclass stand has piqued my interest.

As an aside, I see that you and Rachel have made use of a few VGC paints. If you don't mind me asking, do you have a local supplier or did you order them from Australia or the US ?

We've bought them locally from model crafts and hobbies and a shop in auckland. but mainly we order them from fantisation.com as they are much cheaper, even with postage.
