I've had a number of requests for sculpting tools, since the only ones available round here seem to be the single GW offerring, or else scandalously (is that a word?) expensive packs from art stores.
The good news is I've got some on the way from overseas, which are hopefully somewhere over the Atlantic at the moment. As soon as they get here, they'll be for sale.
In the meantime, you may like to make your own;
Go to Dan Perez' excellent site for a tutorial on making a micro spatula.

I made one a while ago, and it's practically the only tool I use nowadays...
...apart from Clay Shapers that is.
These are my favourites, soft rubber tipped paint brush looking things, available in three grades of hardness, with the softest good for oil painting and the hardest good for sculpting and smoothing putty. They are available in loads of different sizes and about half a dozen different shapes (I think). Like so many things, they are pretty expensive over here (I think they start at about 15 bucks) so I was pretty pissed off when I dropped my best one, and my dog caught it before it hit the ground, went "cool, a stick" and destroyed it. Hmmm.
So I decided to make my own;
Find a paintbrush a bit smaller than you want your finished tool to be, dip the bristles in some latex, leave to dry.
Tadaa! A smooth, soft, rubbery burnishing tool. Experiment with different shaped brushes, and multiple coats of latex until you find your perfect tool.
(and don't forget the old standby improvised tool; cocktail stick dipped in superglue, and trimmed to any shape you like)
