Phil, are you aware of www.freebooterminiatures.com This is the company of a German figure sculptor that has a minor side-line in terrain pieces like gargoyles and window sets designed to be 'pushed through' 5mm foam card. It's all very nice stuff but it's all quite small for the 28mm scale. I'm not suggesting copying his work obviously but I would love some larger gargoyle sets with as much character as these pieces (which are around 1cm long and so small you don't really notice them in finished terrain). In fact I should get off my arse and try sculpting some myself I guess

Funnily enough I'm working on some doors and windows at the minute, but as with most of my stuff they're technic rather than rustic.
Never thought of gargoyles though...

Ya know some cyber-gothic style gargoyles could be very cool. Dunno what I would do with them but I always love the imagery of futuristic cathedrals and religous orders that have embraced technology.

Yea go on Phil it would save me getting the plastic bit's , from GW empire cannon , and cementing them under the eves of my squat tower , they just do not look kosha , and am still looking for something better !
