Love the dry cracked gound idea thats great, havent seen any bases like that at all. Have you thought about the 50mm square monster bases? Big rocks/trees branches stumps etc like a mini diorama almost. And 40mm squares for the ogres? They are Dogs of war and so they can be added to pretty much anyones army. Could be pretty popular. Oh thats Warhmmer by the way. (Gee dubya)

I've been unusually busy with commissions recently, but I'm hoping to get molding and casting again in the next couple of weeks.
What styles are you interested in?

If you're going for different styles, I'd be after cobblestones that look more like this : Or flagstone bases like this : The bases at the moment would be used for Mordheim models,a GW skirmish game based around a ruined city. As an aside, to check out what other people are doing in other places there is an American company called EpiCast here epicast.netfirms.com/epicast/nfoscomm/catalog/index.php?cPath=21&osCsid=4e71c3c26206479f66300798e1eee3d0 which might be good for a bit of inspiration. On the subject of bases, how go the plans to become a Natolis supplier ?

Oh yes, oh yes. The first row and the last one of the second row look fantastic and the second one still looks good. I'd be after 20mm squares.

I've got ten bags of the blighters! Thought I had no stock, but I keep opening boxes from the move and finding stuff!
Any chance of some pics of the ones you've used? I still haven't seen any of my bases with figures on them! (I tell a lie, I've done one myself for the astoundingly popular Easter competition, pics tommorrow hopefuly)

Yea some 40mm square flagstone bases in lead would be just the thing , those cheep plastic ones from GW just do not have the mass and make the model top heavy (lead ogres - plastic bases good ond GW ) got any Phil ?
