Don't want to buy huge sacks of flock and grass? Once again it's uncle PitYak to the rescue. Have a look here or here. The static grass, chippings and flock come in bags approx 62mm x 75mm, the moss in a bag approx 76mm x 100mm. If you can't be bothered with trademe, I'll be punting these out as from next week; chippings, flock and moss $1 per bag; static grass $2 per bag. All four materials for $4. For ease of posting I might split the moss into two smaller bags, as it's a bit fat, and I don't want to have to charge $3.50 postage. I though about supplying little containers of glue, but since we've got the $2 shop... Other materials to follow, when I can source suitable suppliers. (and of course, they will be available at my stall on Saturday)

If you want something to create more specific bases, check out Tristan's pro-basing kits at Natolis Warcrafts. While my packs are very general, just materials which you use however you like, Natolis Warcrafts pro-basing kits are more specialised, geared toward providing everything you need to produce particular themed bases. The basic kit contains: Coarse Gravel Fine Gravel Static Grass Long Grass Lichen Cork Boulders Wood Beams (balsa pieces) Floor Slabs (irregular herculite pieces) plus... a basic basing guide to get you started. Currently being developed are the "Dungeon and Cavern kit" containing: Fine Gravel Link Chain (appox 2" length) Masonry Rubble Stalagmites Cork Boulders Wood Beams (balsa pieces) Floor Slabs (irregular herculite pieces) 1 x Round Base plus... a basic basing guide to get you started. ... and the "Snow Peak" basing kit, containing a replica snow product unique to Natolis. (If you don't fancy paying overseas postage, there's a chance I may be Natolis Warcrafts' New Zealand distributor in the near future; watch this space...)

It's a dark green foamy flocky stuff - better for dense undergrowth than static grass.

Eastenenders is a fine example of similar. In fact most English soaps are pretty dire like that.
