Hello, I am thinking of putting a GW Predator Tank (Was originaly a razorback) onto a terrain base, the reason as I have a cool idea and it also gives me extra space for batteries for lighting on the tank. What do you think? as GW Tanks never go on bases, and it is not neccesary, but I want it to be fully different and converted.

If I was to do it I would avoid round bases. the perfect geometry would pull at the eye. Otherwise the only issue is navigating terrain and having your base proped on an angle going up a hill.
Another way to go would Sacrifice the interior of the tank for the batteries etc. you should be able to fit a couple AAA's in there. hinge some of the doors to get the batteries in and out.
Use a magnetic switch that can be mounted inside the tank, wave a magnet over the area and it cycles power
That way the base can just be for displays as there is no wires running through.
I want to buy a necron army just so I can light them all up...

Thanks, good ides, but I might have to have the tank going up a hill , as I have converted (hacked) out the inner doors so I could see inside (For lighting) and the roof isn't fully covered up either. do you think a square base would look alright? and with the hill I can put the batteries in the hill. thanks Also I know a guy who put neons on a monolith
