Funny how your brain works sometimes eh? I was sitting at the bus stop this morning and a complete, modular design for a 15mm guard tower/airfield control tower popped into my head. I can cast it all with one sided molds too.
Mad.

Well I was just watching Futurama and I've decided I'm going to make a model of the planet express headquarters.

Complete with a ship I hope . Hmmm, lots of curves there though! I didn't get into Futurama when it first came out, but I've been watching the repeats on C4 and it's pretty good! Pity they cancelled it really. I particularly enjoyed that 'universe in a box' episode recently.

That was a corker!
I got the first series box set a while ago, and managed to pick up series two on the cheap yesterday (I got so many great bargains yesterday it wasn't funny, but that's a whole load of differetn stories...)
Because Futurama basically apes all the scifi cliches of old, I find it a surprisingly good source of inspiration, for things like interior detailing and ships and buildings.
...alright, I just like watching cartoons

My favorite character has to be 'Zap Brannigan', he's such a hilarious mixture of all those bad bombastic sci-fi 'commander' cliches. Kinda like Kirk, Flash Gordon and Buck Rodgers all rolled into one
