$51 for a bunch of cardboard buildings???!
The plastic bulkheads you can surely order separately from GW UK or GW US?

oh can you?
there's one guy bidding on two sets of this, he's driven the price up.
I thought it might be worth it for the plastic bits, but maybe not if you can still buy them.

I dont think this is worth it for you Phil.
You could turn out better stuff than this for far less that $50... now for me who cant build terrain to save myself then yes good value! That is the second larger auction rather than the mint box, (which is probably more of a collectors item now anyway)

The sprues don't look THAT great. I'm sure with a bit of effort you or I could come up with something similar. In fact all you'd need is some plasticard, a sharp Xacto and patience I reckon . Maybe good inspiration for Dustan's Space Hulk?

Well spookily enough, I am I'm busy working on a range of doors and other hardware, working title "Portals". You heard it here first! That's why I had a look at those auctions when I saw them, wondering what they were like.

Its the terrain from the old necromunda game, My mate is going to give me set (for free I think)
The sprues are OK but like Aaron said not for 51 dollars to a guy who makes the stuff for a living, the basic idea of them is you can push card into gutters that run around the sides and top of the detail sides, the top edge has two little locking hoop whilst the bottom has pins allowing them to snap together
The look ok but the detail is two shallow.
I got one laying round somewhere I can take a pic of unless the GW site has good pics

"Portals" sounds good! I look forward to seeing what you have on offer. A good set of resin sci-fi bulkheads and doors would sell I reckon because they'd be great for detailing larger terrain pieces.
One thing I've always been tempted to create is a set of 'control panels'. The sort of thing that the Rhino interior back wall has but a variety of them cast in resin that you could stick to foam card etc. for detailing.

aaah, dude.
That's another thing I'm doing. The doors (and windows) and interior detailing. And for exactly the reason you say, for detailing larger pieces. I figure I'm spending too long on stuff like doors and details, so why not cast a few up.
