My latest sculpting job, two "Thoqqua", or fire worms.
These were new ones to me, but apparently are D&D monsters, and from the information I was given are creatures related to fire elementals, which burrow underground, launching surprise attacks on thier victims by bursting up through the ground and stabbing them with their red hot pointy snouts.
Quite a nice job to do; no hands, no faces, not much detail at all, just the segmented bodies, resembling I suppose heat affected rock.
The one on the left is in the process of emerging, the one on the right fully emerged. Both are 28mm scale (the bases are 25mm square)
