Nice, I love the nice seamless look on the bases.
Is that tent made of masking tape ?
It looks like you painted maps on the papers, if so are the acurate ?

The tent is made from newspaper of all things. Not a massive success, but was just a try out. I am happy with the bases though, it's not at all that obvious that they are two seperate pieces. It's a really tight squeeze getting the medium base in and out, but it can be done.
I wish i'd taken photos of the tent construction, I made the frame out of 17 pieces of plastic rod, and at least 17 collapses and swearing fits, but it looked good when finally finished! I was planning on using tissue paper for the fabric, but late at night decide just to run with the newspaper I was using as a template.
The maps are anything but accurate! just a few random squiggles, but look the part. and did you spot the tea cup?
A unique staff team too I believe; the guy with the cap from the 25pdr pack, a 8th army observer, italy officer with his pistol arm swapped, and the seated figure is a jeep passenger with scratched legs sitting on a pile of boxes.
