How can you accomodate for larger models, such as (in my case) dreadnoughts and tanks?

Bit of cutting of the old foam tray I reckon.
I'm going to buy a couple more and use them to hold my 1500pts Flames of War force...which will require a bit of cutting out of of dividers for the larger bases.
Trays won't be deep enough for 28mm vehicles though...

Hmmm I guess they can always go in on top of the trays, the vehicles dont get as damaged as single minis anyways

If you required more than 1 level of figures you could cut through several layers to accomodate a vehicle. Then use the off cuts to pad around it to make sure it doesn't move.
Im trying to be strong and not buy any but they just look like such a good way to store figures... dammit wish I hadn't bought those clothes storage boxes now...

I went to plastic box and scored some foam squares for 3.50 a piece then got file storage boxes to put them in. if I can find a thin foam sheat i will cut strips and make my own grid. I should be able to make i tray for around 5 dollars and even less to transport vehicles...

I honestly don't know ....the same as a GW tray except they've got square instead of rounded corners? Does that help? I'd get a ruler out tonight but we're heading south!

In my case i put my vehicles (predator, rhino, whirlwind, speeder) in the bottom of my case with some spare foam and i can still fit in 3 layers and a codex!!

One of the locals was trying to organise a mass order for a discount, so 300 trays for $8 each, and he was flatly not interested.
this is a little disapointing, as the postage is a little much, ie 7.50 for 3, its not bad, but if you can order in bulk, and get one package, you shluld be able to reduce the postage. also by ordering 300 (or more) you can get a lump of money at once.
kinda seemed like he does notget business, becuase to me it would be better to get 1 lump of 300 trays done so you have a definate sale, than to drip feed 10 here and there and hope the interest stays up long enough tat they ever get to the 300.
i had a good look at them at the club, they are nice, i am a little unsure about the foam, its a little hard, nowhere near as soft as the charon trays.
the postage is putting me off, i do need some mroe trays, but sicne i need weird sizes (heavy cav trays etc) from charon, i can just order some more basic charon tryas for about the same price and the postage add on is minimal.
if he could maek them 10*4 then they would be even better, so you coudl do a full unit. a guy in oz was looking at that, and he worked out that if you trimmed a mm off each side, you could add a whole extra slot to each row.
good to see someone in NZ making stuff though.

It could be that he is operating on very slim margins and already offering his product as cheap as is practicable.

Yes, I think Phil's hit the nail on the head. Considering he was originally posting them on TradeMe for $15-$12 I believe. Now he's dropped back to $10 he's getting plenty of sales but I doubt he's making enough to retire early
