S'just a WIP shot on a dreadnaught. I've been working on intermittantly since January. I've not really enjoyed painting it, which is funny as I'll be using three in my 1500 point army, so painting sessions where I've worked on it have been few and far between. I've been 'in the hobby' for a little bit over a year now. I've still got to finish the wiring, finish highlighting the missle launcher arm and fill in a few details on the model. The colour scheme of the army is half purple, half bronze but the vehicles have been done all in Purple as the halved scheme would have just looked weird.

I really like the purple and bronze scheme, but I think I would highlight the bronze just a weee bit with gold, that will give it a lift. Nice job on the red lights? I can't quite tell what they are but they ook quite jewel like to me. The base is interesting, did you create that or is it a cast one? great photography, you take the shot yourself?

I wasn't too sure on how to do the lights, or if they were lights, so I just painted them as gems, the easy way out. The base is pre cast by GW and comes with the dreadnaught, it's quite cool but there is only the one kind so I'll have to do something different for the other two bases.
The photo was taken in a bit of a hurry, but the photoshopping of the background improved it.
Thanks for the feedback.

As Piarate Wench said nice photography. When you are showing off your work online you need to be able to take good photos. Good work and bad photos really let the piece down and dont show it as it really is and an excellent paint job ends up looking hurried and grainy. On the otherhand poor photography of a pretty average piece can make it look better than it really is. Or at least hide the nasty bits. Also as I found out very good close up photograpahy can murder a well painted figure. Every flaw not nomally visible to the human eye is bought into glaring view. So in the environment we are in photography is half the battle.......any way nice dready and great photo
