I figured if I actually created the thread it would give me a kick in the pants and encourage me to actually figure out how to set up the pictures on my homepage. So Now I am off to try and work out how to get the WIP photos showing!

Wow its so good to know its not just me!! I keep thinking "Ive gotta figure out how to download digital camera pics" so I can show off my stuff... but then I get home and pick up a paintbrush or load up pirates and I dont remember until 10pm at night I was supposed to sort out that damn camera!  oh well its been a long time since ive been regularly picking up a paintbrush (Ie more than one flurry of activity every few weeks) so thats gotta be credit to this forum!  |

Although it has actually reduced the amount of time I spend at the bench. Or asleep for that matter. Or going out, talking to the wife, eating...

well I gave up trying to futz around creating my own site. Instead I loaded onto Album, which used to be fatalnetworks, they've broken away from just trademe hosting and will host piccy's for anything, and they're NZ based so it's cool to support the local services anyways here is my mermaids. only one pic there at the moment, but i'll add to the album as i get the photos sorted mermaids |

That's real nice. 28mm I take it? What's the original figure? I've got a inkling to do a mermaid of my own; something a bit more cyber-techy. I've always wanted to do a centaur with a bike instead of a horse body too. I might just get round to doing a range - cyber-fantasy or something I'll call it |

this is the original, the one in the middle hereI chopped her legs off, they were slightly miscast and she has ugly feet anyway. Then filed all the pearls and thongs down so she has a clean torso, i left the seashell bra and the pose. I found a small rock with a hollow and just set her stumps into that with a bit of epoxy then buit up the tail and some of the rock around that |
