I've just had a mail from Paradise
"Last week you may have noticed delays in receiving email via paradise.net, and that Paradise home and web pages were off line for a couple of days."
Notice a delay?? mail was taking two days to get to me.
off line for a couple of days?? My site was totally inacessible for a week, and i had no FTP acess for a further week.
No explanation, no nothing.
It goes on...
"we could not email you to advise of the problem."
Great, just what you want from an ISP
"We did add a message to the paradise.net home page"
Where??? I looked every day and couldn't see anything
Crap. If my customer service ever gets that bad, tell me straight away, eh?

Lol haha, thats so typical, company's never explain, probably some bozo split his coffee on the main computer

that would explain why my request to have a homepage activated took a week
probably their web guy was on holiday

said a third party had hacked in to their servers. yeah right, some bozo spilt his cofee!

ok, there is a clearer picture developing here
the web guy is the bozo that spilt the coffee, and it took them a week to hire a new one after they fired him for being a bozo

i wouldn't hold my breath for future service. to cut down costs they probably got the old bozo to train the new one.  |

I once worked in the I.T dept od a major NZI.T outsourcing company.
Once the main mail server for 3000+ emploees went down.
Our head I.T. genius then emails everyone saying "The mail is down....we will email you to advise when it is working again"
How these people get to the top I have no idea!?!!
Im glad Im not in I.T any more

Don't want to sound like a broken record, but how this bunch of morons can call themselves an "internet service provider" absolutely escapes me.
Without going inot all the details, I have been ringing and mailing them every other day for the last few weeks trying to get the tiniest of problems sorted out without any success.
Now I've had a customer on the phone informing me the mailto forms on my site aren't working. Again!
So apolgies if you've been trying to contact me through these; I may not be much of a techie but this one I know is not my fault.
Internet Service Provider! ;D ;D ;D
