Do people have their miniature collection recorded on their contents insurance?

Doing some quick maths I figured out there is no way I could afford to replace my collection (which is averagely large) and my insurance would only cover it for $2000 (which wouldn't even scratch the surface)

I was just wondering if other people have insured their collection?

Dunno if this helps, but my insurance with AMI is one wher you also have to disclose items/collections over 2000

When I got my laptop ($4500) I rang hem and added it to my insurance. It actually cost me nothing extra.

So it may be worth contacting your insurance company and finding the details anyway.
