Me too... maybe with the new rules having just come out people are still getting a handle on them so haven't started tweaking yet.

I know; Any character armed with a PitYak steel sword gets double the usual number of melee attacks. and... Any figure mounted on a PitYak resin base gets +1 wounds. Something like that?

Excellent idea!.
All you need to do is run your own competition (sponsored of course by PitYak Studios) and slip that in as "Tournament Rules"

Anyone fielding an army consisting of more than 50% scantily clad *1 females gets a 33% *2 chance to -distract- the opposing side. If the distraction roll is successful any males in the opposing side will be spellbound with tongues hanging out and forget to fire weapons, march forwards or anything else their leader had ordered them to do
*1 scantily being defined as having less than 30% of flesh covered by armor, clothing or discreetly placed shields
*2 determined by rolling a d6 and getting a 1 or a 4

There are rules like that; not for 40k but a game called "back of beyond" i think.
You get to have "distractions" like you describe and all kinds of rabble rousers from your side who can persuade the opponent to throw down their arms and fight against their oppressors and stuff like that.
