I was looking at these in the model shop the other day and thought they might be useful if you're allowed to use non gw figures.

Nice thought. But GW do love our money too much... anything remotely official requires only GW figures.

I used to have some of them. they are nice, but not as nice as the marine figures.
whether or not you need to use GW figures is up to the organiser, if its a GT, or the upcoming conflict events, then you will need to only use GW figs.

i don't think they're from a game as such, they are just nexus's attempt at scifi 28m figures.

oh ok. they look like the models from 'Robogear'. i bought one of the models to use as a custom dreadnought but after making it no paints, not even the ones that came with it, would stay in one place they would all act as if they were full of water. after shaking them for roughly TEN MINUTES they still didin't work.
