Always happy to chuck another task on the modelling list! Any suggestions?
What have we done so far? Armies, figures, terrain... what's left? Sculpting stuff?

That might preclude too many folk, not too many of us actually sculpt, but I'd be up for it. Maybe a more general idea like a sculpt, or conversion or scratched terrain piece (again)?
Dunno, no suggestions really, just thought I might put the idea out see who's interested. I've got lots of vehicle related projects, maybe something along thoses lines?
I've got lots of projects that need an impetus to get to started!

ok, one vote for tanks. looks like something vehicle related could be a winner. plus, I painted three trucks, two lorries and four halftracks yesterday, so I've got a head start

I've got an Ebob Miniatures 1/56th Opel Blitz that I've assembled, cleaned and primed white...now it's just staring at me folornly from the gaming cupboard like a small helpless dewy eyed puppy. Possibly I could paint that

There she is! The 1/56th Opel Blitz, a fine looking beast in primer white eh? Probably I should add some canvas hoops over the back tray because that'd just make it look cooler. Be a pain to game around though...unless they were removeable....!

brass wire and tubes would do the trick. glur then pin them using a 'U' shaped wire then sculpt a bracket over the wire, brass wires good cause it bends well with tools but is quite durable to fingers

Actually I was just thinking of drilling pin holes in the wooden tray walls (I think they're thick enough) just behind the brackets.
Brass wire you say? I was thinking cheap crappy replaceable hoops of garden wire myself but that's pretty soft. Brass wire is good and stiff is it? Hmmm. Now I'll have to source some.

That's pretty much how I attach wires to my fow vehicles; drill holes straight into the deck, in line with ridges on the resin canopies, then sit the little seat strips in place, and drill again before attaching the wires.
I've just spent an age dremelling out a load of solid resin vehicles I bought to save a couple of bucks, and adding seats and wires. When I worked out how long i'd spent on them, I decided in future I'll be buying the expensive models!

Heh. Man I love 15mm. So much bang for your buck. My brand new DBA armies cost me $120nz all up including shipping. That's like $50nz an army!
Damn and I thought Flames of War was cheap. Heck I should get some Celts or Germans as well - although maybe I should play a few games of DBA first...

I'll try and get some photos of the based Carthaginians up sometime this week so you can have a look see.
The figures are quite nice, spears are a little fiddly though. My hat's off to the sculptor too...since they've managed to create convincing feet in sandels at the 15mm scale...each toe is like 0.25mm across.
