I seem to be unable to read a single page on wikipedia without hyperlinking all over the place, but at least I discoverred this fascinating morsel of trivia about Raiders of the Lost Ark;
"Whilst all the snakes were fine, one spider fell and died - as a result the movie does not have a 'No Animals Were Harmed in the Making of this Production' notification."

Heh. I love the new re-released Raiders DVD boxed set. They cleaned up some obvious bits and pieces...like the very obvious thick slab of glass between Mr Ford and the snakes in the Well of Souls scene...

I just read about that too - i'd forgotten that bit. I'm trying to track down a copy of raiders, but don't want to spring for the boxed set. found temple of doom on vhs yesterday, but still no raiders (i never appreciated temple of doom was a prequel either)
