I practically live in the cave, the only thing it doesn't have is a toilet (it does have a waste pipe though, if things get desperate...). Fortunately there's a house attached.

Ok it must be the mother in me (curse these parenting hormones!) But my first thought when I saw picture 2 was "Oh no, thats so danngerous! those saw blades could fall from that beam and hurt someone"
I want a woman cave, I'm still spread aout over three rooms and several cabinets. When my son finally moves out of home I'm moving into the sleepout, but until then I'm just a scattered collection of bits and pieces which is entirely irritating because I spent three hours trying to recall where I last 'stored' my reaper minis because the box they were in also had some interesting watch parts and I wanted the tiny gears for making a pair of earrings.
Still haven't found that box yet, and i've been looking on and off for three days. That is just how bad my sprawling mess is

ahh, don't imagine my situation is any better; those photos were taken immediately after set up, before i started work in there. Now there's no visible floor space and every horizontal surface is buried under assorted "projects". Kim was round recently, and he seemed to know what figures I had better than me, I've lost so much stuff already. Still, it's nice to appear organised.
(There's even more precarious saw blades now too)

I only managed to buy a jigsaw, drill, belt sander, and dremmel before the mrs saw what was happening and got me some 'help' Eventually when i own my own place I have plans for something similar to your cave tho.

yeah it's not bad. Instead of just getting what you need, you get everything, then decide on a use for it. Even better is the "hmm... don't know what that is, better have it" syndrome

The quad dremmel will defeat all pewter that stands against it.

Just looked these definitions up;
Tool - Something you buy then decide on a use for.
Specialist model-making tool - Something you buy for an exorbitant price then decide on a use for.
