Our local Speight's ale house advertised a weekly quiz starting last night, so me and the wife went along, as it is only 53 paces from our front door. When I saw the first round was "cartoons" I felt quietly confident.
15 minutes or so after it was due to start the manager came over to our table and asked if we were here for the quiz. When I told him yes, he said there was a slight problem in that including us there were only two teams present, so we could just have the prize.
$25 tab! woohoo!
