Turns out in fact the dino I mentioned isn't the first one I've done, I did this one about 15 years ago.
I'd bought it cos i needed wings for a different project that never went anywhere, then while me and my mate were sitting round, er, relaxing, one afternoon, we decide to build it. I wasn't particularly into models at the time, but had some glue and artists acrylic and, bizzarely, some sheets of usaf decals. So my pterodactyl got a super quick sponged paintjob, some usaf decals, then got posed in typical "studenty" fashion.
