Anybody out there got any experience of/with these guys?
Particularly Im after advice on 1 or 2 Possessed in starting warband.
Also what size base does the Possessed model come on? 25*25 or 40*40?

Arg! You're considering fielding Possessed! Don't do it, they're far too powerf...uh I mean they're a terribly weak starting warband . TWO Possessed in a starting warband would seem to be overkill... and will leave you with not much else surely? It'd be two Possessed and some Heroes? Sounds a bit brittle...Mordheim criticals being what they are even Possessed can get laid out by a lucky strike. I've seen a Possessed warband completely walk away with a campaign...they started with one Possessed and had a second after several games. After that they were unstoppable. I'm unsure of what base they're on...According to AB they do NOT count as 'large creatures' (+1 to hit) so I think an Orc sized base as opposed to a human one would be reasonable. Don't know what those are in mm though.

Well Im just kicking around ideas at the moment. What Im really looking for is a new warband (not skaven or undead) to collect but one that I can do quite cheaply. Ive got a few chaos daemons at home as well as a 40k mutations sprue and thought if I mix and match human militia, marauders and the bits box it might come out ok and would require only the marauders.
my other options are Humans (probalby Marienburg) or Dwarfs. Or see what I else I could cobble toether.

No the Possessed are a good choice. They're tough Chaos nutters with some powerful magicks. And Possessed 'Possessed' are really nasty in a starting warband. However anybody that has played against them before will target the 'Possessed' first and leave the rest of the warband until later...except maybe the Beastmen. Mutants are as good as men with an extra ability! Beastmen are underpriced since they have WS4, T4 and multiple wounds! Orc heroes cost me the same and they're only one wound ... Go for it I say! I find humans are hard going in Mordheim...because the only advantage they have is blackpowder usually! Dwarves are tough nuts to crack in HtH but suffer because of their low mobility. There's nothing funnier than watching a Skaven vs Dwarf game since the Dwarves RUN as far as the Skaven WALK...

Yeah Ive played a few games with humies and always kind of struggled. I was leaning towards Marienburg so I had enough $$ to get me an Ogre (and so make use of one of those new ogres I got back) and because I have an obsession with giving my Captain a brace of dueling pistols!
Im a bit nervous about Dwarfs because of low M and I and also because they are so damn expensive you only start a campaign with 6-9 guys depending on how little equipment you give them. Ive probably got 90% of the models I need but being dwarfs they are armed with axes which are about my last choice of CC weapon.
Hmm... Dunno... probably I should look through my odd models and see waht captures my attention... wonder if I could get together a wood elf shadow elves army that could be quite cool... but probably rather out of character for wood elves to be in mordheim.

I should definitely get a prelim campaign sorted out and posted around eh? Just to see what people think...and then we can sort out Warbands...it would be nice to have a bunch of different warbands but I can't see a problem with duplicates...so far I think it's reasonable to assume: Aaron: Skaven? Dwarves? Possessed? Brent: Undead. That's the only warband he's got. Dustan: Skaven? Since you've already got some painted. Nate: A human warband? From his WHFB Empire force? Stuart: Either Reiklanders or Orcs depending on the other players and how much time I have to finish painting the Reiklanders! Anybody else on here fancy joining a Mordheim campaign? We'll be playing the latest update rules on this table which lives in Royal Oak, Auckland with a whole bunch of painted terrain:

Keen as for a campaign, as you know. I got skaven, and enough painted for undead (blood dragon VC), I also collect Empire from middenheim (Kinights of the White wolf, YAY).
I got enough darkelves to make a band, but they need painting, and the band I want to play is beastmen (but thats a warband I want to convert so I need more bitz) if anyone knows where I can get animal legs with good detail and about in scale with skaven torsos, well... I would be very happy indeed.
