Oooops, I misread what you said. The first is fine by me and it looks like I'll be taking part after all.
My concerns to the guidlines were that the army I'm doing is going to involve metal models as a core choice, and I would rather in the first month go and buy a good regiment all at once as opposed to getting characters and such. That said, I assume there'll be a wee bit of leeway for converting characters from what I have, so that really cancels out my problems.
