Does the $170 include paints and materials or jsut base figures?
Im currently cash poor (my bank suddenly hit 0 with visa and mortgage tag teaming me) and time poor I get like 1hr per night to do anything.
I certainly cant go out and buy any more figures.....but may have left overs that havent been started yet. Probably not $170 worth tho

Ok we are moving away from the original concept here.
This isn’t about who can do the best job or who can afford what, and making sure everyone can participate. Its about people who already want to collect a new army or work on an existing army. They want to be able to show people what they are up to, to talk about their decisions & to get help and advice along the way. Personally I want to collect a new army, I want to spend about $170 to get my army kicked off and then paint it up as I go along. I want to set targets to work to that will challenge my time management, I fully expect to have to sit up to midnight some nights to stay on target but I want people around me that will encourage me and make that effort worthwhile. I don’t care about what my work is like in comparison to someone else (I visited Stu last night and couldn’t hope to churn out work to his standard) but I care about giving it my all, turning out a fully painted army that Im proud to field.
I want like minded people to get involved so Im not just doing it on my own. I will shortly post that concept

Mr PitYak has suggested a possible way to move this away from being a money dominated idea (Dammit I like money!) that needs consideration. As such I have removed the other thread. PLEASE KEEP POSTING YOUR IDEAS!

in a new thread. If you want to do it say so there. If you like the idea of doing something but this one is too much say so here. Ive got a bunch of other concepts that I will float (and would be equally happy getting involved in) if this ones a no go so don’t worry we will come up with something to get EVERYONE involved as a participant but this first one isn’t that concept. Also dont feel pressure to say yes to this idea cause you think it might be the only chance. If this idea doesn't fly we will come up with something else.
p.s. money is important in this idea, its about collecting a new army on a set budget that is the crux of this whole concept.

Meh, I am interested, I do want to collect a WHFB army, and I do have a digital camera and all that. So... when do we start?
