Yep, get out there and play some games!
Old addage time: No plan survives contact with the enemy!
You've got an army and a plan, give it a test run and see how it goes!

I've been thinking about my army, and I've come up with an even bigger, better way to field more troops.
Tactical Squad 1: 10 * marines, inc. sergeant, plasma gun, missile launcher.
Tactial Squad 2: 10 * marines, inc. sergeant, meltagun, missile launcher.
Commander: WS5, BS5, S4, T4, W2, I5, A3(4), Ld9, Sv3+ Storm bolter and power weapon.
TOTAL POINTS: 401
This gives me a base of 20 marines, which in the right circumstances can let loose with 40 bolter rounds per turn, and also stand up reasonably well in combat. The commander justs adds his strength in combat where it's needed.
How does that sound for a 40k in 40 minutes force?

I played a few games against a few armies using both lists and I found the second to be more effective. Against Khorne I scored a victory and a loss, and against Eldar I scored two wins Thats all the games I've had time to play but it looks ok so far.
